Stephanie Vaught-Kitchens, DVM

Stephanie Vaught-Kitchens DVM is an alumna of both the University of Alabama and Auburn University. She obtained her BS in Microbiology in 1994 from the University of Alabama and spent her formative years in Tuscaloosa. She obtained her doctorate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She has lived in the Tennessee Valley area for the last 18 years, and has practiced both primary care and emergency/critical care in private small animal practices. She lives in Decatur with her husband, Tim, sons "Jet" (German Shorthaired Pointer), "Jack White Kitty" (Siamese mix), "Brother" (alley cat) and daughter, "Stinkpot" (domestic medium hair). Dr Stephanie enjoys weight-lifting, nature walks and small game hunting but cherishes quiet days and nights listening to her husband's banjo "pickin' and singin'.
